This is a kit with everything you need for learning to spin.

The spindle spins long and steady, but not fast, so that you have time to work on your drafting as it spins. It is beautifully finished in 3 colors, and will grow with you. As you grow and begin to spin finer yarns, this is a great spindle for plying them.

This kit includes a small Kromski niddy noddy for wining tiny mini skeins, and 4 oz (114g) of Polish Merino Wool in a random colorway for practice.

Assembly is required. No tools are required. 1-2 minutes needed.

To assemble, you'll need to firmly screw the hook into the top of the spindle whorl, which is a soft wood easily molded around the screw for a very secure fit. Then, slide the whorl onto the spindle and gently push to tighten. That's it!
