Soft Silk Mohair - Brushed Lace Weight Yarn

Knitting For Olive's Soft Silk Mohair is a brushed lace-weight yarn that is made from a luxurious and soft blend of the finiest kid mohair and mulberry silk. 

We love it worked on its own at a loose gauge for an airy fabric, as seen in the ruffles of the Efferevescent Pullover and the Oolong Socks.

Hold it with a fingering weight to achieve a DK weight fabric for patterns like the Go Gently Cardigan.

Hold it with a DK weight yarn to achieve a worsted weight. 

The mohair comes from South African angora goats, produced responsibly and certified Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) for animal wellbeing.

The silk is harvested from cocoons after the moths have already emerged, resulting in a no-kill processing.
