Flaxwool fingering yarn - fingering weight yarn
A delicious organic wool and linen blend, Flaxwool is dyed by Asian American dyer Sharon of Rui Knits in the Bay Area, CA. She excels at beautiful semi-variegated colors that are perfect for sweater knitting.
We are so excited to offer Flaxwool as it has great airflow and durability due to the linen content. Try it for beautiful summer tees, tanks, or shawls.
This base takes up dye very gently due to flax not holding on to dye the same way as wool, and every single shade could work as the perfect neutral.
It also boasts a generous 509 yards per 100g, which makes it a great value for hand dyed yarn.
This collection curated for us by Sharon especially for the launch of the Oolong Tee includes our custom colorway, Basking in Oolong.
