Baby Paca - Fingering Weight Non-Superwash Sock Yarn
A unique and non-superwash sock yarn, Baby Paca is a stunning base for sock knitting, custom milled for the dyer, The Wandering Flock. 30% baby alpaca adds amazing softness and warmth, while a high twist and 50% non-superwash merino keeps things bouncy with good recovery for uses like, well, sock knitting. Finally, 20% nylon keeps things hard wearing.
We are so pleased to bring this base in a range of beautiful hand-dyed colors. The colors show up beautifully blended like watercolor due to the non-superwash base.
Knit any fingering-weight sock pattern with this stunning base, including many Aimee Sher Makes patterns.
We've especially designed the Oolong Socks in this base, but we think that the Effervescent Pullover and Effervescent Mini would be beautiful in this base too.
