Aengus the Shetland batt or mini batt (two ways)

This is a 2025 shearing of Aengus, a Shetland wether living at Ewereka Farm in Monkton Maryland. He has a surprising gentle sheen and a dark gray color, technically classed as a Shaela color Shetland. 

He has a rustic hand and I think he's on fine side of medium. He came with a pretty significant amount of dust and VM, but the resulting batt is smooth and beautiful. 

I've prepared Aengus in two ways: 

• 100% Aengus Shetland, 100g. 
• "Deep Sea Blue" mini-batts: a color-forward blend of 50% Aengus Shetland, 47% Merino combed top, and 3% recycled sari silk, 100g. 

100% Aengus comes in full batt form. 

"Deep Sea Blue" takes advantage of the stunning, cool-tone gray that Aengus naturally comes in to deepen the other colors presented in a very lightly textured set of mini-batts.
