The 2026 Aimee Sher Makes Make-along
This Make-Along is being hosted by Aimee Sher, along with the friends of ASM, Shreya Iyer and Sharon Luan.

Make-Along Guidelines
Event Details
The MAL will mainly be taking place on Discord and Instagram, but posting to other platforms such as Tiktok and YouTube are encouraged. Please use the hashtag #ASMMAL2026 everywhere and tag us at @aimeeshermakes to participate.
Due to changes on Instagram and how hashtags are organized, we will have Google Forms for you to enter to win prizes and participate along with.
To qualify, you'll need to complete a project use one or more of the following:
🧶 Eligibility is any project that fulfills 1 (one) of the following requirements:
- Any project from a pattern designed by me
- Any project using Comfort Silk Linen, my in house yarn
- Any spinning project using combed top or a batt I made (so, anything ASM branded)
All projects must be started and completed during the duration of this make-along, with the following exceptions:
- Lounge Room Raglans cast on just after the release (one week before the start of MAL)
- Fiber purchased from ASM that you started spinning earlier this year.
We are so excited that for the first time, knitters, crocheters, spinners, and weavers will be all included in our 2025 Make-along!

Prizes & Entry Forms
- WIP Prizes: $25 gift cards to my website (drawn every 2 weeks starting on March 16)
- FO Prizes: $50 gift cards to my website (3 winners, drawn on May 25).
- Grand FO Prize: $100 gift card to my website (1 winner, drawn on May 25).
Plus, there will be some surprise prizes coming up that we can't talk about yet!
Participation requirements:
- You will need to fill out a Google Form (live now in my link in bio) when you make a post about the MAL, and we will draw from that list. This is to make sure we don't miss an entries.
- At least 1 public Instagram or Tiktok grid post is required for entry--it must tag @aimeeshermakes and use #ASMMAL2026.
- WIPs or FOs are allowed for entry. Prizes are drawn every 2 weeks from the entire Google Form pool during the MAL. Each submission is worth 1 entry.
