The Transition Slipover is a reversible cable vest knitting pattern, inspired by the in-between seasons of life. Meandering cables mark an uncertain but adventurous path through the knitting and the wearing… and just like forks in the path in life, let them bring you through places of uncertainty and finally home, where you’re meant to be, wherever the repeat starts again.

The side buttons can be opened or closed for a more dramatic split hem look, or not. One side has a scoop neck, and the other has a dramatic V neck, for endless possibilities. With a deep arm hole, this slipover vest knitting pattern is perfect when layered with other knit pieces in winter or over lighter base layers in autumn and spring.
