Organic Studio Sock - Fingering Weight Yarn
This is a hefty organic 8-ply merino wool yarn that was developed by Neighborhood Fiber Co. With its 8-ply structure, Studio Sock is strong and holds up well, despite not using the traditional superwash process.
The wool is minimally processed to be environmentally friendly as it is a GOTS-certified wool, which also gives it a very soft on skin feel.
This yarn can be used for any of our sock patterns, and can even be held with other yarns to make garments that will last through the seasons, or beautiful shawls. It has a very round, bouncy quality due to the high ply count.

Always mulesing free.
Hand wash or machine wash with wool-specific product, and lay flat to dry on blocking mats or a clean towel. We recommend hand washing when possible even with superwashed yarn to help your finished object last longer over time.
