Loft is a 70% kid mohair and 30% silk lace-weight, brushed yarn. This silk/mohair blend is great for holding with other fingering-weight yarns to create wispy pieces, or held double for a slightly transparent look.

This yarn has great halo to it, and was dyed for us by Neighborhood Fiber Co in Baltimore.

Care Instructions

Hand wash in cold water with wool-specific product. Lay flat to dry on blocking mats or a clean towel. This product is not superwashed and should never be washed or dried by machine.

Knitting Tips

This is a hand dyed product. We recommend washing a swatch to determine color bleeding, if any, and alternating skeins while working larger projects that require more than one skein.
Purchase all the yarn you need to complete your project in one order. We will try our best to match dye lots.
We do not recommend brushed yarn like this one for young children 1 year old or under.
