BFL Tough Sock - Fingering Weight Yarn
La Bien Aimeé’s BFL Tough Sock is a 4-ply sturdy, bouncy superwash sock yarn. Soft to the hand but a hardier than Merino, BFL (Bluefaced Leicester) is one of our very favorite wool breeds for sock knitting. This luxury yarn is hand-dyed in Paris by Aimée and her team.
BFL Tough Sock comes in a range of stunning colors and takes dye beautifully. We love it in speckled colors and tonal alike. Aimée has the most stunning sense of color. We've selected some of our favorite shades for you.
While this base is fantastic for socks, we also love it for baby things that are easy-care and will stand the test of time.
Tough Sock comes in a generous yardage of 465 yards / 425 meters, so you’ll have plenty of extra after working a pair of socks!

Always mulesing free.
Hand wash or machine wash with wool-specific product, and lay flat to dry on blocking mats or a clean towel. We recommend hand washing when possible even with superwashed yarn to help your finished object last longer over time.
