Kumo - Nonsuperwash baby suri alpaca and mulberry silk
Kumo is a beautiful brushed yarn made of suri alpaca and mulberry silk. It is a lovely alternative for those who are sensitive to mohair, and feels softer and less prickly to the touch. Kumo means "cloud" in Japanese and this feels just like the name!
This is a non-superwash yarn and picks up speckles and colors more gently, like watercolor. We think this would be stunning held with a solid colorway to jazz things up, and it's equally lovely for garments and accessories like shawls and hats.
This works up a little more substantially than most lace weight fluffy blends, and fills in stitches nicely.
