Green Oolong / Fall 2024

The fall harvest of Green Oolong is here! This tea is a 青心 (qingxin) cultivar and is grown at an organic tea farm in 杉林溪 (Shanlinxi) in Nantou County, Taiwan. It's processed to showcase the unique qualities of Taiwanese high-mountain grown qinxin tea. 

This year's weather in Taiwan has been mild and lovely, resulting in an unusually smooth and umami flavor for the fall harvest.

This lightly processed and unroasted preparation gives a juicy and vegetal flavor with a slight bitterness at the finish. Floral undertones with a sweet flavor when the broth cools down, and sits in a lovely halfway space between vegetal and floral.
